DNA Test Results for Genetic Diseases: Wonder was tested for 250 different inherited diseases and traits. Common, inherited diseases include those that affect metabolism, bones, eyes, kidneys and many more. The results for all the diseases Wonder was tested for were Normal (Clear). So, Wonder is not at risk for any of these genetic diseases. In addition, she is not a carrier for any of the mutations studied.

Wonder is energetic, confident, and eager to work. While in Germany, she earned her SG and V show ratings, BH, AD, WD, IGP1, and a KKL breed survey, thanks in large part to the incredible guidance and dedication of Michael Hansen, who worked closely with her throughout her training and accomplishments. Beyond her achievements, Wonder’s personality shines—joyful, playful, smart, and deeply affectionate with her family.

Wonder's Accomplishments:
10/04/2025– Wonder earned her KKL (KoerKlasse) or Breed Survey. For this rating the dog must compete for titles in Germany or other countries under the rules of the SV (Verein fur Deutsche Schaferhunde, the club for German Shepherd Dogs in Germany). To meet this world standard each dog must pass a companion dog temperament test (BH), a minimum of a SchH/IPO/IGP working degree, certified hips (“a” stamp or OFA) a 12-mile endurance test followed by an examination for physical soundness. The dog must also compete at a show to achieve a conformation rating of at least a SG or better. These requirements make the dog eligible to enter a Koerung/ Breed Survey (qualify for breeding). At the Breed Survey the dog is carefully evaluated for correct structure, temperament, and courage. These requirements are only guidelines for our breed, sometimes recommendations are given to who the dog should be bred with to produce excellent offspring, also sometimes certain bloodlines are not bred together as the two bloodlines do not work well together.
09/27/2025 – Wonder earned her IGP1 (International working) Title in Germany. For the dog to earn this title it must pass all the Tracking, Obedience, and Protection tests required for the IGP1 degree.
08/22/2025 – Wonder earned her WB (Wesentest) Title. A test that assesses a German Shepherd’s temperament, character, working dog abilities. The test is used during a dog’s developmental stage.
07/23/2025 – Wonder earned her SG2 (Sehr Gut or Very Good) show rating in Germany. It is the highest rating a dog can get in a show until it has met all the requirements listed to receive a V rating.
05/25/2025 – Wonder earned her BH (Begleithund) Title in Germany. It’s a Temperament and Obedience test required before advancement to SchH/IPO/IGP Titles.
05/25/2025 – Wonder earned her AD (Ausdauerprüfung “Endurance Test”) Title. A Certificate awarded for approximately 12-mile run followed by a short obedience test.
Wonder earned her AKC FIT DOG Bronze (FITB) Title in 2025. Your dog needs to accumulate at least 5 points from at least two categories. These categories include AKC FIT DOG courses, community runs, walks and hikes, unique activities, AKC performance titles, and AKC Parent Club performance titles.
Wonder earned her International Championship (IntCH) Title at the International All Breed Canine Association Of America (IABCA) dog show in 2024. This title is earned by the dog being awarded the highest conformation show rating (V-1) by 3 different judges, with at least two of the judges licensed in different countries.
Wonder earned her AKC Virtual Home Manners Adult (VHMA) Title from the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 2024. The dog must demonstrate that it knows ten skills that well-mannered pet puppies need in the home setting. The skills relate to the dog owner having control over the dog, being able to walk the dog (which is one of the most frequently cited activities that owners want to do with their dogs) and developing a bond with the dog during playtime.
Wonder earned her AKC Virtual Scent Work Beginner (VSWB) Title from the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 2024. The dog must find one item (choice of ball, toy or treat) inside the home at ground level up within 1.5 minutes in one search area. It takes two passes to earn a title.
Wonder earned her AKC Novice Trick Dog (TKN) Title from the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 2024. The dog must perform 10 skills from the Novice Trick list, to earn the Novice Trick Title.
Wonder earned her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Title from the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 2024. The dog and handler have to successfully complete ten components of an evaluation. The purpose of the evaluation is to recognize those dogs who have been trained to be good citizens in the community.
Wonder earned her Socialized Pet Obedience Test (SPOT-ON) Title from the United Kennel Club (UKC) in 2024. The SPOT test consists of 10 separate stations. At each station, the dog must perform a basic exercise. These exercises are used to demonstrate that the dog is capable of exhibiting desired behaviors that the general public would expect to see in a well-behaved dog. The dog will receive a rating at each station, varying from “Outstanding” to “Needs Practice”. A dog that completes the test with an Outstanding rating at each station will be considered a “SPOT Outstanding Neighbor” or “SPOT-ON” dog.
